Heirline is based out of Jasper, Tennessee. Group members are Ernie Dawson, Linda Dawson, Eric Dawson, Jackie Lamb and Landon Dawson. Ernie Dawson is celebrating 25 years in ministry this year and if you like your gospel music served up country style then you’ll enjoy this CD. Heirline is consistent in style and sound.
My criticism on this CD is that it sounds more like a solo project with back-up vocals rather than a group. If you can get past that, and I did, then this is a good CD. This project is for the Christian as it is all about encouragement and faith. The title track, Pressing On, will uplift in these struggling times; this feeling is woven throughout the CD and all of the tracks. With my favorites God Still Dries Our Tears reminding us that God is still there to help us in our trials and At the End of the Aisle takes us back to the night we met Jesus “at the end of the aisle”.
Sometimes You’re Daddy features Landon Dawson and at 14 he does a good job delivering this song as he sings “sometimes your daddy and I know you love me and the answer you’ll provide.”
Heirline has delivered a solid project in celebration of 25 years.

im sort of confused.. didnt Heirline form around 1994? i could be wrong, but i was thinking they came along about then on Sonlite records???
I don't know about that, there was an Heirline in the late 80's from Michigan, they were an all male group that started in Southern Gospel as a quartet but eventually went trio and stayed that way when their bass singer left they went the progressive route and eventually disbanded, that may be the one that you are thinking of not sure. I have your email, I'll do some further research and let you know what I find.
