Mosley sings baritone, writes songs for group’s upcoming CD release
(Nashville, TN) Daryl Mosley, the songwriter behind former song of the year ”(Ask the Blind Man) He Saw It All” , Ronnie Booth’s #1 song, “I Would” and others, has accepted the position as baritone singer with the new Harvest Gold Quartet.
Mosley has been writing and singing professionally for a number of years, but this is his first time in a southern gospel quartet. Daryl says, “In the 10 years I was with New Tradition, we did a lot of 4 part, quartet style songs and arrangements, but we were primarily a bluegrass band. I enjoyed what we did, but I’ve always wanted sing true southern gospel. I’m very excited about this opportunity.”
Harvest Gold’s Sean Link is equally excited about the addition of Daryl to the group. “Daryl has spent the past decade singing on the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. We were pleasantly surprised that he would leave the Opry to join our group. God moved in some very amazing ways to make this happen.”
Harvest Gold is currently working on their debut CD; a project that will feature several of Daryl’s songs. “In concert, it’s fun singing ‘He Saw It All’ and other songs I’ve written that people recognize”, Daryl says, “But we are receiving great response to many of the new songs, as well. We are looking forward to getting these songs recorded and available.”
