This video is such an insult to so many people. It makes fun of Southern people and makes Christians look like idiots. The snake handler at the end plays to every negative stereotype people place on the church. I was unimpressed with their singing and hokey way they did this. I was also dissapointed to see artists lrnd their fa e to it. If this is the future of Gospel music, we are in trouble.
No snakes were harmed in the production of this video. Any likeness of portrayed of anyone living or dead is strictly encouraged. God Bless Your Heart!!!
Seriously, Sherri? I believe the Red Roots are from Mississippi, so aren't they southerners? It's a comedy video. Laugh and see the satire. Psalm 126:2
Awesome video! It is always refreshing to know that Christians can have some fun too. I was raised in a southern church and it was funny to see the spoof on some of the things that I was around. Again, knowing it was meant to be funny, the message in the song was well received. Keep up the great work girls!
Everytime I watch this video, I am encouraged to go online to video comment pages and post something POSITIVE to uplift and encourage others to continue to spread the gospel in a fun and loving way. Then, when on the video comment pages, I have a strong desire to pray for those who discourage others for trying to reach sinners for Christ.....I love you girls, and what you are doing for God. Keep serving in the way that only you can. Now excuse me while I go pray for those who have trouble giving up the desire to discourage others...
This video is great!! I have recently discovered this trio and their music videos online. Looks like they have a great thing going and a bunch of potential!! This video made me laugh, and I think that was the whole point. They're definitely approaching gospel music differently than the way most artists are doing it these days, and I have to say it's refreshing! Keep up the great work!!
This video is so funny. It reminds me of the story Wendy Bagwell told about the rattlesnakes years ago. Here's the link if you would like to hear it. http://www.godtube.com/watch/?v=J2CC0FNU
Girls, you are a blessing! Your voices are pure as I'm sure are your intentions in spreading the Gospel. I hope everyone else can enjoy the humor and know that Jesus Christ lives in you! Keep spreading the Good News!
I saw these girls in Michigan. Love their energy on stage. Their testimony blessed me more than they will ever know. I hope I can get my grandchildren to come this year to hear them.
