Group Gearing Up For An Exciting Week During the National Quartet Convention

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vine Records recording artist HisSong will be the special guest on Fox Morning News in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 6:00 a.m. EST during next week’s National Quartet Convention.

HisSong owner/manager Dennis Humphries said, “We were so excited to get the call that we had been invited to appear live on the Fox Early Morning News even thought it is very early. We were honored to be invited. We would love for you to tune in live next Tuesday morning. God has truly blessed us this year, and it has been the best year for HisSong.”

HisSong is enjoying the success of their latest project On The Way Up. That album has already scored three hit songs, including their first Top 5 song - "I Still Have It All" which went all the way to the # 2 on the Singing News Magazine Top 80 chart. The song also reached #1 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart for three weeks.

The group’s new radio single, "That's When God Steps In", was among the Top 10 New Releases on the Singing News Top 80 coming as the third most added song for the current reporting period. The song will debut at #43 on the upcoming October 2008 issue of the chart. That song is also currently sitting at #2 on the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart and has been voted Fan Favorite for several weeks.

HisSong is nominated for five Diamond Awards at the National Quartet Convention, and they will also be performing their hit song "I Still Have It All" during the Diamond Awards program next Friday, September 12, 2008. They will also be performing that day from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Featured Artist Showcase in the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center, East Hall A-B during the National Quartet Convention.
